The 新香港六合彩开奖结果Academy has been rated as the highest performing maintained mixed school in Camden in this year's annual performance tables for A Levels from the Department for Education.
The Academy, which opened in 2012, also achieved the second highest value added result across all schools within the authority, including independent schools. The value added result measures the progress made by students from the end of Key Stage 4 to the end of Key Stage 5.
The announcement follows a monitoring visit from Her Majesty's Inspector (HMI) Debbie Clinton in September and positive reports from the Academy School Improvement Partner Sue Gregory (HMI and retired Director of Ofsted) over the last term.
Commenting on the tables, 新香港六合彩开奖结果Vice-Provost (Education), Professor Anthony Smith, said: "This is a great result for a new school, particularly one where subjects are heavily weighted towards sciences and maths. Everyone at the 新香港六合彩开奖结果Academy should feel justifiably proud of their achievements."
Geraldine Davies, Principal of the 新香港六合彩开奖结果Academy, said: "We are incredibly proud of the progress made since we were established in 2012. Particular credit must go to the curriculum leaders, staff and senior leaders, especially Assistant Principal Alice Lucas, who worked so diligently to make this happen.
"Our progress would not have been possible without our wonderful students who produced great results, with 75% of them earning places at Russell Group universities. We have set the bar high but our expectations for this year's results are even higher."
